C.L.E.A.R. COMMITTEE
"IT'S C.L.E.A.R. HERE AT THE C.O.A.S.T." - DEAN EVANS
The new C.L.E.A.R. Committee is a group of 20-25 diverse faculty members who will be quarterly reviewing student performance with the overall goal of creating an equitable review of each student, celebrating your strengths and helping with your weaknesses. Each quarter, the committee is tasked to see if a student is on course to graduation. All of the data from the C.L.E.A.R. committee will be available to each student via a dashboard that can help you track your progress! For students who go above and beyond expectations, there will be opportunities for commendations in eight different core competencies each quarter. There are over 40 commendations available in the pre-clinical years alone which will go onto your Dean's Letter to show residency programs how amazing UCSD SOM students are!

The C.L.E.A.R. Committee strictly focuses on the positives of each student, acting as a sounding board for students to see how they are doing throughout their medical education.
