UCSD STUDENT-RUN FREE CLINIC PROJECT
The UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic Project, in partnership with the community, has been providing accessible, quality healthcare for the underserved in the San Diego area for over 20 years. 75% of our 1st year students, along with determined 2nd and 4th years and faculty, share the responsibility of delivering quality care to 3 different locations in the San Diego area each week. In addition to primary health care, students can choose to participate in specialty clinics with our talented UCSD faculty, in order to provide our community with a comprehensive health team. In addition, the Free Clinic project also provides nutrition services, acupuncture and physical therapy for its patients, as well as partners with local organizations and schools to provide social services and legal services to help our patients in all aspects of their well-being. Check out the video below to learn a bit more!

Currently, our active locations for Free Clinic across San Diego include: Downtown (Monday nights), Normal Heights (Tuesday afternoons), Pacific Beach (Wednesday nights).
